The Office of the Dean of Students
The Office of the Dean of Students implements a variety of programs and services to assist and support students at Illinois in achieving academic and personal success. The Office provides important educational and developmental opportunities, serves as student advocates, empowers students to be successful, and promotes students’ rights and responsibilities.
Disability Resource and Educational Services (DRES)
Learners who have a medically documented disability may qualify for accommodations through the Disability Resource and Educational Services (DRES) at no additional cost. Learners who receive a Letter of Accommodation are responsible for providing a copy of the letter to their instructional support team by emailing it to i-support@illinois.edu. The email should include all courses the learner is currently enrolled in.

Office for Access & Equity (OAE)
The Office for Access & Equity services include support for accessibility & accommodations, discrimination & harassment, and affirmative action analytics. Learners seeking support in any of these areas can submit an online report to get connected with a University representative for next steps or they can choose to anonymously submit a concern. Learners are supported by the University of Illinois Title IX Coordinator, who is responsible for and authorized to coordinate the University’s efforts to comply with Title IX to prohibit sex discrimination in education activities and programs. University Library
The University Library offers numerous resources for on-campus and online learners including eBooks, I-Share books, Business Information Services, IBIS World, Safari Books online, LinkedIn Learning, and Ask a Librarian. To access the University Library, a learner must be enrolled in courses and login using a NetID or iCard. Discover more University Library resources at https://www.library.illinois.edu/.
Learners enrolled in an online graduate program are able to access the library while off-campus through the use of Easy Search, Virtual Private Network (VPN), or Google Scholar.
Office of Student Financial Aid
Federal, state, and institutional student financial aid programs are available to provide assistance with the cost of attendance. To identify contact information and types of aid, visit https://osfa.illinois.edu/.
Federal and state veterans' education programs are available for active-duty service members and veterans of the U.S. Armed Services, and for certain cases, the dependents of service members. University Bursar
The University Bursar is responsible for the billing of learner tuition accounts. Learners seeking assistance with payment plans, financial holds, refunds, or financial mentorship should work with the University Bursar. Counseling Center – Teleus Health
While the University Counseling Center does not offer direct counseling to online learners, this app connects our learners to licensed mental health professionals. This service is included in online student fees.
Title IX Office
The Title IX Office at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign is primarily responsible for providing leadership, oversight, consultation, education, and training to the university community around the topic of Title IX and related university policies and procedures. This includes meeting with individuals to answer questions, review rights and options, and provide resources and support services.
The Title IX Office helps ensure that the university responds appropriately and effectively to issues and grievances related to Title IX and related state and federal laws specifically sexual misconduct response, pregnancy and related conditions support, and athletics and Title IX.
