Graduation

Gies College of Business grants degrees three times a year -- in May, August, and December. You need to submit an application for graduation in your final term in order to place your name on the degree list and receive your diploma.

Leiby brings VR, empathy into accounting discipline

The image of an accountant as a dispassionate person who isn’t influenced by status or environment doesn’t reflect today’s professional, according to Justin Leiby, associate professor of accountancy at Gies College of Business.

Engagement is key for Gies professor Hayden Noel

For the past four years, Noel has taught marketing courses for Gies’ online MBA program – called the iMBA. He had never taught online previously, and but now he'll be the first to say online education is here to stay, and its impact is real and enduring.
