Optional Prep Courses

Gies Online Programs wants to see you succeed, which is why we have put together optional preparatory courses, offered at no cost to you. These courses will enable you to be best prepared for your courses. The preparatory courses are available to begin at any time and will not impact your GPA.

The Online Programs Fundamental Skills course provides online programs students with an introduction or refresher on a number of skills that are essential to success in your degree courses. Topics covered in this course include Excel, Quantitative Fundamentals, Financial Accounting Fundamentals, Managerial Accounting Fundamentals, and Business Writing.

Students taking BADM 567 are highly encouraged to complete course modules focused on Excel and Quantitative Fundamentals prior to the start of classes.

Students taking ACCY 500 are highly encouraged to complete course modules focused on Financial Accounting Fundamentals.

Online Programs Statistics Course

The Online Programs Statistics course provides online programs students with an introduction or refresher in varying statistics topics that are essential to success in your degree courses. Topics covered in this course include Distribution, Hypothesis Testing, Analysis, and more.
