GiesConnect, powered by InScribe, is our online community platform open to all Gies Online learners and alumni. The Learner and Alumni Networking Hub - The Hub - is your dedicated space to build connections, expand your professional network, and get support with career transitions. The Hub offers channels (specialized groups) dedicated to professional development, including the Career and Professional Development channel, regional channels, and special interest channels. This is your community to ask questions, seek advice, share job opportunities, or offer guidance to your peers.
The Career and Professional Development channel within the Hub can be used to find job postings, industry connections, and to grow your skills. You can also share relevant career-themed resources—e.g., tools, tutorials, articles, interviews, industry profiles—as well as encouragement, advice, and insight. This topic is ideal for peer-to-peer career support and networking!

VMock utilizes AI and resume templates to help you edit your resume in a way that will be best for your path. VMock will help you leverage your skills, improve the overall content, and strengthen its overall reach through concrete and actionable feedback! Depending on your career path and experience, not all templates will be applicable. This How-To Guide gives an overview of the features and will help you get started.
VMock Career Fit is a feature in the platform that gives an assessment of your current fit for target careers, as well as how you can cover gaps to improve your fit. Career Fit uses a deep-scoring engine that provides the most accurate comparison of your resume benchmarked against your peers for a desired career track. The VMock platform is available to Gies Online current degree-seeking students and Gies Online alumni for one year post-graduation.
