Gies College of Business grants degrees three times a year -- in May, August, and December. You need to submit an application for graduation in your final term in order to place your name on the degree list and receive your diploma.

Mao Ye named Educator of the Year by Student Alumni Ambassadors

  Left-Right: Chancellor Barbara Wilson, Ryan Erhard, and Mao Ye Left-Right: Chancellor Barbara Wilson, Ryan Erhard, and Mao Ye Assistant Professor of Finance Mao Ye was honored by the Student Alumni Ambassadors as the Educator of the Year for 2016. This award was given by Student Alumni Ambassadors, the student arm of the University of Illinois Alumni Association, and the University of Illinois in conjunction with the Senior 100 Honorary Program. The Senior 100 Honorees, who represent the top one hundred graduating seniors at the university, were asked to recommend one of their professors who have made an impact on their University of Illinois experience. Mao Ye was recommended for this prestigious award by one of his former students, Ryan Erhard. The award was bestowed during the Senior 100 Honorary Luncheon on May 1, 2016.
