Gies College of Business grants degrees three times a year -- in May, August, and December. You need to submit an application for graduation in your final term in order to place your name on the degree list and receive your diploma.

Riley League combatting waste and fraud in healthcare

Riley League, new assistant professor in the Department of Finance, comes to Gies after spending a year as a postdoctoral fellow at the NBER, a nonprofit organization that facilitates research and analysis of major economic issues.

Pal champions financial relief for homeowners

Avantika Pal’s research shines a light on the importance of advocating for homeowners facing foreclosure. Her work demonstrates how granting them extra time can significantly improve their chances of staying afloat financially.

2023 Leighton Lecture on Ethics and Leadership

The 2023 Leighton Lecture on Ethics and Leadership will feature Sylvia Puente, President & CEO of the Latino Policy Forum. She will speak on March 21 at 4pm in Deloitte Auditorium on “An Economic Powerhouse: Strengthening Leadership with the Latino/a/x Community.”
