Gies College of Business grants degrees three times a year -- in May, August, and December. You need to submit an application for graduation in your final term in order to place your name on the degree list and receive your diploma.

How COVID-19 reshaped the future of social security

A new study found that excess deaths from COVID-19 reduced future Social Security obligations by $205 billion. However, these fiscal "savings" highlight the profound human cost of the pandemic and do little to ease the overall strain on government finances or Social Security’s long-term solvency.

Steven S. Wymer Hall Dedicated

Steven S. Wymer Hall, a state-of-the-art facility at Gies College of Business, was officially dedicated on October 10 as a hub for innovation, collaboration, and learner-centered design. Funded through generous donations, including a naming gift from alumnus Steven Wymer, the building features advanced hybrid classrooms, experiential learning spaces, and sustainable geothermal technology, marking a transformative step toward Gies Business’ net-zero future.
