Gies College of Business grants degrees three times a year -- in May, August, and December. You need to submit an application for graduation in your final term in order to place your name on the degree list and receive your diploma.

Mark Peecher & Jessen Hobson Awarded Glen McLaughlin Prize for Research in Accounting Ethics

Congratulations to Professor Mark Peecher and Associate Professor Jessen Hobson. Their paper, "Improving Experienced Auditors' Detection of Deception in CEO Narratives" co-authored by Bill Mayew and Mohan Venkatachalam (Duke University), has been selected as the recipient of the 2016-2017 Glen McLaughlin Prize for Research in Accounting Ethics from the Steed School of Accounting at the University of Oklahoma.
