Graduation

Gies College of Business grants degrees three times a year -- in May, August, and December. You need to submit an application for graduation in your final term in order to place your name on the degree list and receive your diploma.

Editor Appointments – Brooke Elliott and Michael Williamson

Professors Brooke Elliott and Michael Williamson have agreed to serve as Editors of The Accounting Review beginning in June 2017. The journal's Editorial Policy states that The Accounting Review "should be viewed as the premier journal for publishing articles reporting the results of accounting research and explaining and illustrating related research methodology.  The scope of acceptable articles should embrace any research methodology and any accounting-related subject, as long as the articles meet the standards established for publication in the journal."  It also states that "[t]opical areas of interest to the journal include accounting information systems, auditing and assurance services, financial accounting, management accounting, taxation, and all other areas of accounting, broadly defined.  The journal is also open to all rigorous research methods."*
