Updated MOOC Launch for MBA 561
We are excited to share that the revised MOOC for MBA 561: Introduction to Applied Business Analytics has officially launched. Beginning this fall, the Canvas and Coursera components for MBA 561 will reflect updates designed to align with faculty expertise, current industry trends and evolving job market demands. Key updates include:
  • Transition from R to Python as the primary programming language.
  • Introduce JupyterLab as the primary development tool.
To prepare for these changes, we encourage you to review the updated MOOC content which highlights the new tools and content changes. If you completed the previous version of the MBA 561 MOOC and earned the certificate, it will still be recognized as complete when you enroll in the for-credit course. However, we strongly recommend reviewing the updated materials and tools, as the new content will be reflected in the coursework. Access the revised MOOC here: MBA 561 MOOC: Introduction to Applied Business Analytics.
