  • Health Insurance is required for the Vietnam and Brazil immersions. It is included in your program fee for the official trip dates. However, if you arrive early or extend your stay, you are responsible for securing your own health insurance for those additional days.

Who is Eligible?

All iDegree learners in the iMSM, iMSA, iMBA and MSBAi programs are eligible. However, if you graduate before the immersion begins, you cannot participate. Therefore, Spring 2027 graduates are not eligible for the Vietnam and Brazil immersions.

How to Apply?

Submit an application for the Summer 2027 in-person immersions along with $100 deposit by November 16 at 11:59 pm CT. If you're not accepted, the deposit will be refunded. If accepted, the deposit will go toward your immersion program fees.

On the summer in-person application, you may indicate interest in both in-person immersions, but you will only be considered for admission to one.

You’ll be notified of your status by November 23, and rosters will be finalized by December 16. If you are on the waiting list, you will be notified as spaces open up until the finalized roster deadline.

iMBA Capstone Credit

Completing an immersion can count as one of the two required MBA 590 specialization capstones for the iMBA. It cannot count toward the MBA 598 program capstone, and only one immersion may be applied toward capstone credit.

If you are an iMSM and iMSA learner and you stack your degree into the iMBA program, your immersion participation will fulfill one MBA 590 specialization capstone.
