Goldie Initiative Scholarship Opportunity
Interested in a career in commercial real estate? The Goldie Initiative is now accepting applications for its 2026–2027 Goldie Scholar Program, which supports female graduate students through scholarship, mentorship, and industry networking opportunities.
The award is up to $15,000 for eligible female graduate students with 1-2 years remaining in their program and an interest in commercial real estate. The deadline to apply is June 1, 2026 at 11:59 am CT. See the attached PDF to learn more. Click here to view the application details and information sessions. Summer and Fall Registration Opens This Week
Registration for summer and fall opens this week and you can view your registration time ticket in Student Self-Service. You can register for both the summer and fall semesters at the same time. Tuition for fall courses will not be charged until the beginning of the Fall 2026 semester.
Your program's Course Offerings Page will guide your course selection. Click on the course offerings link for your program and select “View Summer or Fall 2026 Courses" to locate Course Registration Numbers (CRNs), live session schedules, and course MOOCs.
We recommend registering for summer courses by May 6 to ensure access to Canvas and Coursera at that time. Registration will not be permitted after 11:59 pm CT on the first day of class. Courses may also reach capacity so secure a seat on your upcoming course today!
Schedule an Advising Meeting With a Specialist
Have any questions about your degree program? Now is a great time to meet with a specialist to prepare for summer! The Student and Academic Success Specialists provide academic advising and support for all students in Gies Online Programs. Whether you need assistance with registration, course selections, dropping or withdrawing from classes, degree planning, or accessing resources available to you - our team is here to help! We offer 25 minute one-on-one Advising Appointments and 15 minute one-on-one Express Advising sessions (first-come, first-serve). You can also email i-support@illinois.edu at any time, with any question. We are here for you!
Due Friday: Apply to Be a Growth Coach for BUS 401
The Cohort Experience Program is hiring Growth Coaches for the upcoming academic year. Growth Coaches facilitate small weekly discussion groups for undergraduate seniors enrolled in BUS 401. This role is ideal for graduate learners interested in teaching, coaching, mentoring, or student development. Growth Coaches receive training, ongoing support, and paid professional experience. We seek reliable, reflective applicants who enjoy facilitating discussion-based work with undergraduate students. Application is due this Friday, April 17. Champaign - Urbana Meet Up Rescheduled

The Champaign- Urbana baseball game and tailgate event has been re-scheduled for Friday, April 17 as Illinois takes on the University of Oregon at 6:00 pm. We would love to see you! Please read below for updated details.
The tailgate will take place at 5:30 pm at a new location inside llinois Field (601 E. Kirby Avenue Champaign, IL), on the first baseline side, in the grassy area above the bleachers. We will have a table set up with an orange Gies College of Business table cloth.
Admission is free! Please note that seating is not provided, so you are welcome to bring a lawn chair if you would like to sit during the event. Please register by Thursday, April 16. Immersion Opportunities Within Gies Online
