Spring 2026 Registration and Live Sessions
Registration for the Spring 2026 term opens Monday, November 10. You may register for both Spring 1 and Spring 2 at the same time. To prepare, check your registration time ticket for the specific day and time you can begin registering and review your program’s Spring 2026 course offerings and live session times. The registration deadline is 11:59 PM on the first day of class; however, we recommend completing your Spring 1 registration by December 12 and Spring 2 by March 4 to ensure access to your spring courses by soft launch. Apply Now for Spring and Summer 2026 Immersions
We're thrilled to announce that applications for the Spring and Summer 2026 Gies Online immersions are now open! Choose from virtual and in-person formats, offered across the globe. As an iDegree learner, you’ll participate in a case competition with a business from the host country, explore local business practices and culture, and connect with fellow iDegree learners from around the world. Course Updates
We are thrilled to share two updates to our iMBA course offerings starting in Spring 2026, as we continue to grow as a program.

FIN 511: Investments will now be listed under a new rubric and course number as FIN 575: Investments and Performance Eval. While the course number has changed, the content and instructor will remain the same. This course will still be offered in the Fall 2 and Spring 2 sessions.

ACCY 593: Internal Audit for Managers is our newest course that will be offered in Spring 2, 2026. This 8-week, 4 credit hour course, will be an iMBA elective. Taught by Andy Dahle and Ed Rogowski, this course equips managers to lead and collaborate with internal audit teams as strategic partners in governance, risk management, and organizational decision-making.

Please note: ACCY 593: AI in Business (CRN: 75976) and ACCY 593: Internal Audit for Managers (CRN: 69860) are separate courses with different content, instructors, credits, and registration. Both courses will be offered in Spring 2, and you are welcome to enroll in both during your degree program, if you so choose. If you have any questions about this update, please email i-support@illinois.edu.
Public MOOC Module Reorganization
You may notice an adjustment if you’re working within the public version of the MOOC, where the number of modules has changed from five to four. Please know this is simply a reorganization where Module 0: Orientation is being combined with the content in Module 1. There are no changes to the course content or assessments, and no action is required on your part. If you receive a notification about this change, please know it’s only organizational and does not affect your progress.
