Join the New GiesConnect Community
We’re excited to introduce the Learner and Alumni Networking Hub—a new GiesConnect community where alumni and current learners can connect, collaborate, and grow together.

As a current learner, you now have access to two communities within GiesConnect:
  • Gies Online: Connect with your peers and iGBA members, get course advice, and explore program resources.
  • Learner and Alumni Networking Hub: Network with current learners and alumni, join regional and interest-based channels, and share experiences.
To get started, visit the GiesConnect homepage, sign in with your Gies SSO credentials, and toggle between the two communities based on your interests, needs, or questions. Together, we’re building a global Gies network rooted in collaboration, belonging, and lifelong learning. We can’t wait to see you inside!
Upcoming MOOC Revisions
Planning to get a head start on your MOOCs? Please be aware that the following MOOCs are undergoing updates and revisions:
If you are not currently enrolled in the high-engagement portion of these courses, we recommend waiting to work ahead until the updated MOOCs are released.

If you’ve previously completed one or more of these MOOCs and earned the certificate(s), they will still be recognized as complete toward your for-credit course. However, you will be responsible for and expected to engage with any new or revised content when you take the for-credit course. The updated MOOCs are expected to launch prior to the next course offering. Please note that prior work will not transfer for BDI 577 MOOC 2: Blockchains, Tokens, and The Decentralized Future. Please wait until Spring 2026 to begin work within the revised MOOC.
