Global Amazon Web Services Outage
We are aware of an ongoing Amazon Web Services (AWS) outage that is currently impacting access to some of our program platforms and resources including Canvas and Coursera. This external issue is currently being addressed. Gies Graduate Programs is actively monitoring the situation. Please keep an eye on your Illinois email for future updates from the program or your instructional teams. 
Spring 2026 Registration Time Tickets Available to View
You can view your Spring 2026 registration time ticket on UIUC Self-Service or the Student Portal and mark that date in your calendar on Monday, October 20. Begin preparing for registration by locating your specific time-ticket date, and using your program's course offering guide to view the course dates and live session information. Some courses will reach capacity, so we recommend that you register as soon as your time ticket opens. While you are waiting this is a great time to connect with a Student & Academic Success Specialist to prepare for registration! 
Fall 1 Grade Release
Final grades for the Fall 1 term are available to view in Student Self-Service on Saturday, October 25.

iDegree Webinar: Immersion Opportunities Within Gies Online

As an immersion participant, you will engage in a case competition with a host country’s business, immerse yourself in the business practices and culture of the host country, and collaborate with fellow iDegree learners as well as business graduate students from around the world. Join Gies Online staff and past iDegree immersion participants in this webinar to learn how these programs can enhance your business education and expand career opportunities, setting you apart in today’s global business environment.

Global Illini Gathering in Singapore
Saturday, November 8 | 1:30 - 8:00 pm SGT
Illinois is home to the brightest minds in scholarship and research and continues to create leaders who make an impact around the world. Join alumni, friends, learners, and university leaders at the Global Illini Gathering in Singapore on Saturday, November 8 at the Conrad Singapore Orchard (One Cuscaden Road, Singapore). Hosted by Gies College of Business and The Grainger College of Engineering, this event will feature thought-provoking panel discussions on AI and the Future of Work, Innovation at Illinois and Illinois’ Global Impact followed by an evening networking reception.

There is a $100 nonrefundable registration fee. Please note that the University cannot provide visa support. Gies News
Steven S. Wymer Hall Dedicated
Steven S. Wymer Hall, the newest building on the business campus and a partnership between Gies College of Business and the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, was officially dedicated on October 10. At nearly 100,000 square feet, Wymer Hall is a game changer for Gies Business and for campus. This state-of-the-art building will help prepare Illinois students for futures of purpose and impact. A shared resource for all of campus, Wymer Hall will bring online and on-campus learning to new levels. Read more about Wymer Hall here.
