Join us at the fourth Midwest Healthcare Conference for a Mini Data Challenge beginning July 18. Apply cutting-edge methodologies to real-world data and contribute to critical research on the effects of glucocorticoids/hydroxychloroquine on COVID-19 survival as a causal intervention. This challenge fosters innovation and emphasizes rigorous, transparent, and ethical research practices in healthcare. No prior knowledge is needed to participate in this event. | Dr. Elliott Named Eleventh Dean of Gies College of Business |
Dr. W. Brooke Elliott has been selected as dean of Gies College of Business and the Josef and Margot Lakonishok Professor in Business, pending approval by the Board of Trustees. Elliott will become the eleventh dean in the 100+ year history of Gies Business and the first woman to ever hold that position. Her appointment will begin August 16. Read more about Dr. Elliot here.

Please save the date for the Investiture of W. Brooke Elliott as the Josef and Margot Lakonishok Professor in Business and installation as eleventh dean of Gies College of Business. The event will take place on September 12 from 2:00- 4:00 pm CT at the Lincoln International Atrium in the Business Instructional Facility (515 East Gregory Drive Champaign, Illinois) with a reception to follow. The ceremony will also be livestreamed for those who would like to participate online. Registration details will be shared out later this summer.
