MOOC Launch for New Elective Course
The first MOOC for ACCY 593: Disruption and Emerging Technologies has launched. This exciting new course will be taught by Professor Robert Brunner, and begins on March 13. MOOC 2 is expected to launch this month and will be announced in the newsletter. Access MOOC 1: Emerging Technology, Disruption, and AI and get started. 
 
Apply for the Carle College of Medicine Capstone
There is still time to participate in the Carle College of Medicine Capstone project; the deadline is approaching next Monday. In this year long capstone, medical students will team up with our iMBA learners and engineering students to develop a new product - at least a working prototype.

Capstone Eligibility and Credit

  • At this time, the opportunity is only available to iMBA learners who reside in the U.S.
  • Upon successful completion of all 3 semesters of the Carle College of Medicine Capstone, iMBA learners will fulfill both specialization capstone requirements.
Application Deadline

We invite you to join us in learning about our new innovations in online education at Gies and what opportunities are next for our learners. Executive Associate Dean Brooke Elliott and Associate Dean Nerissa Brown will discuss what our accomplishments and success looked like in the past year and also share a glimpse into what's to come in 2025 and beyond. Gies is constantly creating new ways for learners to succeed and achieve their goals, and we are excited for you to be part of the conversation. If you'd like to ask a question for our panelists, you can submit that with your registration.
 
Summer 2024 Immersions: Acceptance Notifications 
Malaysia & Singapore May 11-18 | South Africa July 28-August 3 
Registration for our two summer immersions have now closed, and we appreciate your interest. Applicants will receive notifications of their acceptance for the Malaysia & Singapore immersion by February 21 and for the South Africa immersion by March 6th. For those who are not accepted this time, your deposit will be refunded. We encourage you to keep applying and check your email and newsletter for future immersion opportunities.
