Drop Deadlines
Online Programs offers a variety of courses that have some varied start dates. If you want to drop a class, please refer to our Dropping Courses and Refunds webpage and also look specifically at the Course Refund Guide for the semester.
The drop deadline for courses that began on March 15 is today-- Monday, March 20.

Please Note: 
Always refer to the Course Refund Guide for dates and refund amounts. If you have any questions about the drop or withdrawal policies please reach out to i-support@illinois.edu.

Faculty Feature
Sandra Corredor
Professor Sandra Corredor is a Teaching Assistant Professor of Business Administration. Professor  Corredor is a Gies alum, earning her Ph.D. in Business Administration, Strategy and Entrepreneurship in 2017 and joined the Gies faculty in 2020. Her research explores corporate divestiture decisions. She teaches undergraduate courses in the management of innovation and technology and global business perspectives and graduate courses in strategic management and technology strategy. This year, she received the Dean's Impact Award for Faculty, which recognizes faculty who have gone above and beyond in the classroom and their research.

Find Professor Corredor:
In the summer, Professor Corredor will teach the Strategic Leadership and Management capstone for iMBA students and serve as the associate instructor for BADM 544: Strategic Management.

In Case You Missed It...
Research from Gies Faculty Aims to Detect and Manage COVID-19
Gies College of Business Associate Professor Ujjal Mukherjee and his co-authors – including Gies professors Sridhar Seshadri and Anton Ivanov- provide recommendations on how to avoid another potential super-spreader event in their published research paper. Check out the paper titled titled, “Detecting and mitigating simultaneous waves of COVID-19 infections” here.

For May 2023 graduates to be awarded their degree, they will need to apply to graduate on student self-service by April 2. This application will not register you for the convocation ceremony.

This ceremony is a celebration of learners completing their degree, but the degree conferral is the formal process by which the University awards degrees.
