| Registration Deadline for Spring 2023 First 8-Week Courses | The registration deadline for the 1st 8-weeks of Spring 2023 courses is Friday, December 16. Registration is open for both the 1st 8-week (Spring 1) and 2nd 8-week (Spring 2) sessions. You have until February 22 to register for 2nd 8-week courses, but can secure your spot in a 2nd 8-week course now.
Registration Note:Some courses may reach capacity before the registration deadline so register early to ensure a seat in the course. While registration after the deadlines may be permitted, it will result in a delay in accessing your courses on Canvas and Coursera. | | Faculty Feature | | | Rob Metzger | | Professor Rob Metzger is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Finance and Steven V. and Christy C. King Faculty Fellow. He earned his MBA at Northwestern University and joined the faculty at Gies in 2015. He teaches courses on investment banking, private equity, and venture capital. In 2021, he received the Award for Excellence in Undergraduate Teaching from the Gies Business Alumni Association. | | James Bertram | Professor James Bertram is an Instructor of Finance and Director of the Investment Banking Academy. He is a two-time University of Illinois graduate, most recently earning his MBA from Gies in 2021. He joined the faculty as an Instructor of Finance in the same year and has more than 30 years of experience in investment banking. He teaches courses on investment banking at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.
