Please refer to your course syllabi for assignment deadlines and live session schedules. University offices will be closed, and responses via email will be delayed during this time. Gies Business Receives $25 Million Gift in Support of SCCIL |
Gies College of Business has received a landmark $25 million gift in support of the new South Campus Center for Interdisciplinary Learning (SCCIL), a building that will serve undergraduate and graduate students – both residential and online – as well as faculty and staff. The gift was given by an alum, who currently wishes to remain anonymous, with the anticipation that the building will eventually be named by the alum. Click here to learn more. |
MOOC Launch for New Spring Elective Course (ACCY 574) | MOOC 1 for ACCY 574: Risk Management and Innovation has launched! Access MOOC 1 Empathy, Data and Risk and get started. Course Dates: January 11- March 7 Course Description: Taught by Justin Leiby, Associate Professor of Accountancy and Professor Ken Perry Faculty Fellow and Disruption & Innovation Scholar, ACCY 574 will focus on identifying and quantifying risks, and delivering stakeholder-driven objectives. You will have the opportunity to work on cases that emphasize developing tools to translate data into insights, tie these insights into managing stakeholder interests, and communicate these insights to decision makers. This course is an elective and is not part of a specialization.
