| Holiday Closure - Monday, September 5 |
| The University will be closed today Monday, September 5 for Labor Day, a United States Holiday. University offices will be closed. Please refer to your course syllabi for assignment deadlines and live session schedules. |
| Limited Advising Services This Week |
| Limited academic advising services will be offered this week. No express advising will be held this week. To reach the SAS team, please email i-support@illinois.edu or schedule an advising appointment. iMSA Office Hours will still be held on Tuesday, September 6. |
| Registration Deadline for Fall 2 Courses |
The registration deadlines for Fall 2 courses (also referred to as second 8-week courses) are coming up this month. Your registration deadline will vary by the course you are taking and so it is important to pay close attention to your course start date.
Registration deadline for courses starting on October 12 is Thursday, September 22.
Registration deadline for courses starting on October 17 is Tuesday, September 27.

While registration after the deadlines may be permitted, it will result in a delay in accessing your courses on Canvas and Coursera. This process may take up to two weeks after you have registered, which may result in missing course assignments and other deadlines. |

| Zoom Upgrade Deadline - September 10 |
On Saturday, September 10, Technology Services will require Zoom client 5.11.3 or newer for Android, iOS, Windows, macOS, and Linux. You can check your own Zoom version by following the guide here. It must be 5.11.3 or newer by September 10.If you are prompted to update Zoom, please do so as soon as possible. You can check for updates manually and run them any time, either in Software Center, Managed Software Center, or Zoom itself.
