Announcing iMSM to iMBA Stackability
We are excited to share another unique benefit about the iMSM program at Gies College of Business! Once students complete their iMSM program, they can now apply to the iMBA program to stack their MSM degree into the MBA!
This is the first time in the history of the University of Illinois that a degree can stack into another degree, and it is one of the very rare examples of this being done at any business school in the country. It is all part of our mission to make life-changing education affordable and accessible to learners of all ages, experiences, locations, and financial means. This new stackable option means those in the iMSM program can achieve their goals in the most flexible, affordable, and impactful way possible.

Phishing Campaigns on the Rise
As the semester kicks off, please be extra cautions about potential phishing/fake emails. We usually see a significant increase right when classes start, as attackers know that we're all in a whirlwind of activity and often too rushed to catch subtle hints that something isn't legitimate.
The two most common types at the moment are:
  1. Messages impersonating VIPs like deans, directors, and department heads, asking for a favor
  2. Messages using Google or Box to send "shared document" notifications.
If you receive one of these messages, or anything pertaining to an email quota or similar that seems suspicious, you can forward the message as an attachment (right-click, forward-as-attachment) to: report-spam@illinois.edu.
