May 2023 Convocation Date 
Gies College of Business will plan to hold its Spring Convocation ceremony in-person at 3 pm on Friday, May 12, 2023, in the State Farm Center. More information will be forthcoming, but you can start making plans to attend! 

Covid-19 note: While we are planning on holding the ceremony on this date, the continued uncertainty of the pandemic means that scheduling can still be subject to change. 
Fall iMSA Courses Soft Launch
Fall courses soft launch today, August 15 if you registered by the deadline. Please be sure to confirm all course start and end dates for the Fall term as some course dates can vary. 

Online Programs utilizes dual platforms with Canvas and Coursera. Makes sure to access your course in both platforms to be successful.
Vote for Nerissa Brown's Panel at SXSW EDU
Nerissa Brown, Associate Dean of Graduate Programs, has an opportunity to participate in a panel at SXSW EDU, partnering with a company that has helped us innovate in the online space. But in order for her panel to get picked, you need to vote her in (public vote counts for 30% of the total score). Voting ends August 21. Click here and "Vote Up" the Juji session proposal with Nerissa!
Duo - Multi-Factor Authorization
Between August 12 and 14, you will begin to see an updated login screen and secondary screen for Duo multi-factor authentication when you access certain web-protected resources.

What action steps do I need to take?

  1. On the first screen, type in your entire university provided email address. You will no longer be able to enter only your NetID for access. Please update your password managers accordingly.
  2. The Duo screen will appear successful entry of your email address and password. This is a visual change that requires no new or different action on your part. Continue to login with Duo as you have in the past.

Last Day to Update Grouping Preference Form for Non-ACCY Elective Courses!
If you are registered for non-accounting electives in the first eight weeks and have not recently updated your grouping preference form, please do that by today. Any changes made after midnight tonight CT will not be reflected in the group formations.
