Save Course Documents from Your Course Site
Canvas course websites are available for 8 weeks from the end of the last course module, as stated in each course syllabus. After 8 weeks from the end date, you will no longer have access to your fall course website in Canvas. Save any documents before that date for your personal archives, including your individual and team assignments.
Update your Grouping Preference Form
It is time to update your Grouping Preference form. This ensures you are grouped with other individuals with similar availability. To update, just log into the Student Portal and click "Grouping Preference" on the right-hand side.

Accounting is the language of business, and Gies College of Business has been a leader in preparing accounting professionals for decades. The accounting job market continues to be strong and is not expected to slow down any time soon. Advisory accounting is one of those paths. Advances in technology have automated routine accounting tasks, changing the traditional work of an accountant. There has been a skill shift, with a greater emphasis on the analytical advisory role.
In this webinar, you will learn about advisory careers in accounting. Gies Accounting faculty and alumni in the advisory field will discuss the opportunities that are found beyond public accounting and will help you chart a course that sets you on this path.

You can register for both first and second 8-weeks at this time, but it is highly advised to register for first 8-week classes before the Winter Break. Our team of Student & Academic Success Specialists are ready to help if you would like assistance choosing classes. 

If you are ready to register, view the Course Offerings Schedule which lists CRNs you will need to register. Remember, if you run into problems with registration, Express Advising is a great resource to drop in and get quick help to your questions!

Gies College of Business May 2022 Convocation will take place on Sunday, May 15, 2022 at 1:30 pm CT in the State Farm Center. If you think you might attend, please reserve your hotel room now!
