Do you have a Business Idea that could Change the World?
The Gies Business iVenture Accelerator supports graduate and undergraduate student-led startups from across campus with expertise, support, and up to $10,000 to cultivate ideas. We're looking for innovative Illinois students actively working on a venture that creates technical, commercial, and/or cultural value. Teams must commit to work with iVenture full time for 10 weeks in the summer and enroll in the iVenture Seminar course Topics in Entrepreneurship offered in fall and spring. Wave 1 applications are due November 29. Learn more at iventure.illinois.edu/apply.
iDegrees Student Council Applications Open
Applications are now open for the iDegrees Student Council! For the first time, the student council is open to all iDegree students who have at least one year remaining in their program. This change to expand the council comes at the recommendation of the current iMBA council members in an effort to reflect broader views.

The student council works in close contact with program administration to build a strong network and support initiatives that advance the program's strategic priorities. Apply by Tuesday, November 30 for consideration. Members are selected by the iDegrees administration.
Course Assistants Application Open for Spring
Applications are now open for FIN 584 and ACCY 500. Students interested in being considered for available hourly course assistant (CA) position should complete the CA Application. The deadline to apply is Tuesday, November 16.

Qualifications:
  • Students must reside in the U.S. (Due to the change in university policy we are unable to hire students that live outside of the U.S.)
  • Students must be in good academic standing
  • Students must have successfully completed the course (with at least a grade of A or higher) that they are applying to be a CA for.
Course assistants are expected to work on average 10 hours per week for eight weeks.
