AICPA Webinar: CPA Evolution - What Aspiring CPAs Need to Know |
Tuesday, November 9 from 1 - 2 PM ET It’s never been a more exciting time to pursue the CPA license. The role of today’s CPA has evolved, and newly licensed CPAs are taking on new responsibilities that were traditionally assigned to more experienced staff. Becoming a CPA means you’ll need deeper skill sets, more competencies and a greater knowledge of emerging technologies. That’s why the CPA licensure model is changing. A restructured version of the CPA Exam, aligned with the CPA Evolution initiative, will launch in 2024. This exclusive AICPA Student Member webcast is meant for anyone who plans to test during that time, even if you start the Exam process before the updated Exam launches.
Mark your calendars for two great student webinars hosted by the AICPA. These webinars are an exclusive benefit of the AICPA Student Affiliate Membership. Don't have an AICPA Student Affiliate Membership yet? Sign up today - it's free! |
FIN 571: Money and Banking to Replace ECON 529 |
Beginning January 2022, FIN 571: Money and Banking will replace ECON 529: Macroeconomics. iMBA and iMSA students that have already completed ECON 529 do not need to complete FIN 571.
FIN 571: Money and Banking, taught by Rustom Irani, Associate Professor of Finance, and Ralf Meisenzahl, Adjunt Professor of Finance and Senior Economist and Research Advisor at Federal Reserve Bank, will provide you with a framework that can be used to understand connections between money, banking, and financial markets.
This course will be offered on the same cadence as ECON 529, in Spring 1 (January) and Summer (May). If you have already completed the MOOCs associated with ECON 529 but have not completed the high engagement section, you will need to complete the MOOCs associated with FIN 571: Money and Banking to earn the certificate and MOOC credit for FIN 571. |
