2025-2026 Carle Capstone Project Application Open

We are excited to announce that the application period is now open for the 2025- 2026 Carle Capstone Project, a unique interdisciplinary opportunity for iMBA learners to collaborate with peers in medicine and engineering. This year-long experiential learning course focuses on solving real healthcare challenges by developing innovative, marketable products. You can review a brief overview of the Carle Capstone project here and a more detailed review of the course here 

 

Eligibility and Requirements 

  • This is a selective program and participation is invited/determined by the Carle Illinois College of Medicine (CIMED) Capstone Course committee.  

  • iMBA learners who are selected will be able to count the medical capstone for both of their required specialization capstone 

  • The learners will register for this course individually for three semesters. 

  • At this time, the opportunity is only available to iMBA learners who reside in the U.S and have earned a minimum of 30 credit hours in the program. 

How to Apply  

Prior to submitting your application, please prepare to upload to your application 

  • Your latest resume.  

  • Video introduction of yourself and the skills you will bring to the capstone team. 

 

Please submit your application by February 7 at 11:59 pm CT where it will be reviewed by a committee. Invitation to participate in the capstone will be sent out on February 28. For those invited to participate, there will be a project kick-off and information session the week of March 17 (exact date will be shared later).  

 

Specialization Capstone Credit  

Upon successful completion of all 3 semesters of the Carle College of Medicine Capstone, iMBA learners will fulfill both specialization capstone requirements.
