Spring 2025 Registration Reminder
Spring courses begin as early as January 15, and you can register today! We encourage you to connect with a Student and Academic Success Specialist if you'd like assistance with registration and course selection. We recommend learners register for Spring 1 courses by December 13 to have access to courses by soft launch on January 8. Registration will not be permitted after 11:59 pm CT on the first day of class. Courses may reach capacity before the registration deadline, so it is advised to register early.

Dial-A-Carol
Dial-A-Carol is the longest running tradition in University Housing (hosted by Snyder Hall since 1960). For one week only, anyone from around the world can call our phone lines, 24/7, and request any holiday song, then we'll do our best to sing our hearts out. The best part? It's completely FREE! And this year, Gies faculty, Kari Keating, Elizabeth Luckman, and Denise Lewin Loyd will be singing! This is a great way for students, staff, and alumni to connect with campus during this time. We are always looking to field calls from all 50 states and as many countries as possible! Dial-A-Carol remains open 24/7 from December 12 through 11:59 pm CT on December 18.

NCSA Workshop: Using NVDIA GPUs with Python
NCSA and NVDIA are teaming up with speaker Zoe Ryan. This workshop will give you hands-on experience accelerating Python codes with NVIDIA GPUs and then finish with an end-to-end example incorporating all the tools introduced to tackle a geospatial problem. By the end of the workshop, you'll have the skills to start accelerating your Python codes with NVIDIA GPUs! The workshop will take place via Zoom on Thursday, December 5 from 1:00 - 3:00 pm CT. Learn more and register here.
