Spring 2025 Elective Course Updates | |
We are excited to announce updates to the Spring 2025 schedule, including a new iMBA elective course! BDI 577: Disruption and Emerging Technologies, formerly under the rubric of ACCY 593, will now be offered in the first eight weeks of Spring, starting in January. It was formerly offered in the second eight weeks of Spring. We are also introducing a brand new iMBA elective course, ACCY 593: AI in Business. This eight week course, taught by Associate Dean for Innovation and Chief Disruption Office Robert Brunner, will be available during the second eight weeks of Spring, effective March 2025. Reach out to a Student and Academic Success Specialist with any questions you have about the changes. | |
Deadline to Apply to the December 2024 Degree List | |
Learners in their final semester of their program this fall must submit theirapplication for graduation by Sunday, November 3. Submitting this application will add your name to the December 2024 degree list, allowing you to receive your diploma and have your degree awarded. Please note that this application does not register you for the convocation ceremony, which is optional and requires its own registration process. | |

Graduate College Immigration Career Event | |
Are you interested in securing full-time employment in the United States? Find out what you need to know about U.S. immigration policies to make a smooth transition. The Graduate College is hosting a webinar on Tuesday, November 12, from 4:00 - 5:00 pm CT. This presentation will discuss the H-1B petition process for full-time hires and options for permanent residence in the U.S. The speaker will be Thomas Arkell, an attorney practicing immigration and employment law. We’re inviting students, faculty, and staff from Gies Business and the School of Social Work to come together for an engaging and timely virtual conversation on November 4.You’ll hear from Bob Feldman, founder of the Dialogue Project, a program housed at Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business, as he explores the role business can play to help reduce polarization and improve civil discourse.
