iDegrees Course Assistant Application is Open
The application to become a Gies iDegrees Course Assistant is open now. If you are interested in being considered for a position that will begin in May, please complete the CA application no later than 11:59 PM CT on March 14. Due to the volume of applications, late submissions will not be accepted. The CA assignments will be announced in April.

Application Process
• Make sure to submit your resume and transcripts in one pdf file.
• Be careful with the course(s) you select. If you work on the course as CA, you will not be eligible to take it for credit as a student later.
• Please list up to four choices of courses you would like to support.
• If you are currently working as a course assistant, you still need to apply for each term.

Questions about the application? Reach out to Wendy Wallace, Assistant Director of Learning Support.

Spring 2024 Second 8-Week Courses Begin
Spring second 8-week courses begin this week on Wednesday, March 13. Please be sure to check your course start and end dates for the spring term as some course start dates may vary. Online Programs utilizes dual platforms with Canvas and Coursera. Make sure to access your course in both platforms to be successful.

Drop and Withdrawal Refund Guides
For your convenience, the Office of the Registrar has created two course refund guides that outline the specific drop dates and withdrawal dates for each course. Just go to “nonstandard courses” and search by course number. Please note that there are two separate refund guides for drops and withdrawals and you can refer to our Dropping Courses and Refunds page about the difference between a drop, withdrawal, and cancellation. As an additional resource, our event calendar posts the academic drop deadlines by course start date.

Your Canvas Course Page Has a Time Limit
Canvas course pages are available for eight weeks from the end of the last course module, as stated in each course syllabus. After eight weeks from the end date, you will no longer have access to your course(s) dashboard in Canvas. Save any documents before that date for your personal archives. Your access to course content and videos in Coursera will not expire.

Optional Graduate Certificates
Earn Graduate Certificates while in pursuit of your iMBA! Embedding the graduate certificate credentials into our degree programs offers you the opportunity to earn a transcriptable credential to demonstrate proficiency within a particular focus area within your iMBA. We hope this additional option contributes to your professional goals and growth while on your degree path. Review your Graduate Certificate options by viewing the iMBA Program Requirements to view your options. Learners graduating Fall 2024 and beyond are not permitted to petition until after April 1, 2024. Stay tuned for more information about upcoming Information Sessions in April or work with a Specialist if you have questions at this time.
