Holiday Closure: Memorial Day
The University will be closed today, Monday, May 29, to honor the US military personnel who have died while serving in the U.S. armed forces. Please refer to your course syllabi for assignment deadlines and live session schedules. University offices are closed today, and responses via email will be delayed during this time. We look forward to interacting with you on Tuesday, May 30 when the University reopens.

Apply to Be a Course Assistant!
If you’re interested in working with iDegree courses as a grader/course assistant in the first 8 weeks of Fall 2023, please read the information below and submit your application before June 1, 2023.
Position: Graduate Hourly or Academic Hourly CA position
Course Duration: August 2 - October 13, 2023
CA Qualification:
1. Available to work 10-15 hours each week
2. Got an A or A+ for the courses you choose
3. Physically reside within the US
4. Eligible to work during the entire term 
Starting Rate: $15
Major Responsibilities:
* CA (Grader): Graders will grade assignments, monitor Q&A discussion, review the course content, and support live sessions (optional)
* CA (SCF): Synchronous Course Facilitators will provide advanced zoom support for live sessions remotely or in the BIF studios
* CA (PR): Plagiarism Reviewers will proactively search course content that is posted online without permission and request the materials to be taken down

Faculty Feature
Denise Lewin Loyd
Denise Lewin Loyd is the Associate Dean for Equity and Associate Professor of Business Administration and Vernon Zimmerman Faculty Fellow. Professor Loyd earned her Ph.D. in Management and Organizations from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University in 2005. She joined the faculty of Gies in 2013. Her research focuses on groups and teams, diversity, social identity, status, and ethics. In 2020, she became the inaugural Associate Dean for Equity and spearheads the College's priority of becoming a leader in equity, diversity, and inclusion.

Professor Loyd serves as co-lead instructor for BADM 508: Leadership and Teams, which will begin in August.

New Drop and Withdrawal Refund Guides
For your convenience, the Office of the Registrar has created two course refund guides that outline the specific drop dates and withdrawal dates for each course. Just go to “non-standard courses” and search by course number. Please note that there are two separate refund guides for drops and withdrawals and you can refer to our Dropping Courses and Refunds page about the difference between a drop, withdrawal, and cancellation. As an additional resource, our event calendar posts the academic drop deadlines by course start date.

Final grades for the Spring 2023 semester are available to view in Student Self-Service.

Deadline to Apply to Graduate in August 2023
June 30 | Apply to Graduate
For August 2023 graduates to be awarded their degree, they will need to apply to graduate on student self-service by June 30. This application will not register you for the May or December 2023 convocation ceremony.
