| Time tickets are now viewable! Registration for summer and fall courses will open as early as April 4. You can view your time ticket on UIUC Self-Service or the Student Portal. Non-degree or PAT students may see different time tickets for summer and fall. Mark your calendar for when you are eligible to register. This is a great time to review your degree plan with a Student & Academic Success Specialist to prepare for registration! |
| Deadline to Apply to Graduate in May |
| Are you planning to graduate this spring? The deadline to apply to graduate is Sunday, April 3. You can submit your application in UIUC Self-Service; find step-by-step instructions on the Degree Conferral webpage. If you are an iMBA student, don't forget to register for the program capstone by the deadline as well. |
| Advising Services Highlight - One-on-One Appointments |
Gies Online Programs has a team of Student and Academic Support Specialists to assist you through your time in the iDegrees programs. While we offer many ways to connect with a Specialist, our one-on-one advising appointments are available weekdays from 8am to 5pm CST. During your appointment you'll meet face-to-face over Zoom to discuss whatever questions or concerns you might have for up to 25 minutes. This is a great option to discuss degree planning and is open to students who have already started their first course.
If you would like to schedule a one-on-one appointment, go to our Advising and Planning webpage and click on "Meet with a Specialist 1-1." Then the system will direct you to Salesforce Advisor Link where you'll scroll through the list of Specialists to find a time that works best for you. | Nerissa Brown Receives Outstanding Leader in Advancing Diversity Award |
| Nerissa Brown, associate professor of accounting, was named the recipient of the Illinois CPA Society’s Lester H. McKeever Jr. Outstanding Leader in Advancing Diversity Award. The award recognizes exceptional leaders committed to increasing diversity in the accounting profession. The award is named for Lester McKeever Jr., who received his bachelor's in accounting from Gies Business in 1955. Nerissa will be recognized for her achievements on June 9, 2022, in Chicago at the ICPAS Leadership Recognition and Awards Dinner. Congratulations, Nerissa! |
