Earlier this month, we launched a large-scale media campaign to help spread the word about our online programs and incredible students we have enrolled. You'll likely see and/or hear media assets on Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Spotify, Pandora, US News & World Report, Boston Globe, and The European. Some of these are traditional digital ads, while others are in-depth stories highlighting the programs and our students.

We encourage you to follow us on our social media, then share and engage with this content, and show off your Gies pride with your friends and colleagues! Follow Gies Online on Instagram, like the page on Facebook, and connect with us on LinkedIn!

Connect with a Student and Academic Success Specialist
Need help getting ready for Spring registration? Want to strategize your courses to accommodate a big project coming up at work? Meet with one of our talented Student and Academic Success Specialists! There are several ways to connect:
  • iMBA and iMSM Express Advising: Meet with a specialist one-on-one for no more than 15 minutes to answer those quick, on the spot questions! Offered each Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 10 AM to 12 PM and 1 PM to 3 PM CT.
  • Schedule an Appointment: Using this method, you can schedule a time to meet with a Specialist for 25 minutes one-on-one. This is a great opportunity to talk about creating or updating your degree plan.
  • i-support@illinois.edu: Can't wait? Don't have time to schedule an appointment? You can email i-support@illinois.edu anytime of day and usually get a response in less than 24 hours!
Gies Giving Day - October 26
Each year on Gies Giving Day, we celebrate the many exciting ways that the naming gift from Larry and Beth Gies transformed the culture, magnified the sense of pride, and impacted the College's trajectory.

Gies Giving Day is not only a celebration, it's also a day to honor the gift by encouraging our students, faculty, staff, and alumni to think about how they, too, can give back. No matter how much each individual is able to offer, the giving represents our collective commitment to educating purposeful leaders who make the world a better place.

This year, we invite you to join us as we collect non-perishable food items or monetary donations benefiting the Eastern Illinois Foodbank. The Gies Giving Day food drive will help alleviate hunger in the Champaign-Urbana community through food pantries, soup kitchens, shelters and more. Donations can be made online or in person on October 26 from 1-4 PM in BIF Commons. We hope you'll join us in celebrating and giving back this Gies Giving Day!
