| The University of Illinois will be closed today, Monday, September 6 in observance of Labor Day, a federal holiday in the United States. University offices are closed and no classes will be held, however, you may still have deadlines or assignments due today. There will be no Advising Express Hours offered. |

Not able to attend still want to connect? Join us virtually at 9:15 AM US Central Time on Friday, September 17 with a welcome from Dean Jeffrey Brown. Next, hear from Dr. Brooke Elliott, Associate Dean and EY Distinguished Professor in Accounting, who will present some details around the current online programs and give you a first look at things to come. Then at 10 AM, you will want to hear our featured speaker Cedric Thurman, Chief Diversity Officer, Federal Home Loan Bank of Chicago (FHLBC), where he has shaped the culture at FHLBC to provide opportunities for all employees and help FHLBC be a catalyst for change for its member institutions and the communities they serve.

Gopesh Anand, Professor of Business Administration & Academic Director, Operations Management
Professor Gopesh Anand holds a PhD in Operations Management and has been teaching at the University of Illinois since 2006. Professor Anand is a William N. Scheffel Faculty Scholar and has been ranked by his students as an Excellent Teacher for twelve consecutive years!
