Opportunity to Work as Action Learning Senior Managers for Fall 2021
Gies is looking for qualified iMBA and iMSM students to work as action learning Senior Managers for the Fall 2021 semester. This Fall, 500 undergraduate and residential graduate Gies students will work on 100 client-based projects in one of our various action learning courses. In the course, students work on teams and conduct a 16-week project for a real client organization.

In addition to the faculty role, a critical key to student success is our action learning Senior Manager role. Senior Managers oversee 3-4 teams each, mentor team leaders and provide guidance to teams on their client projects. As needed, Senior Managers may also sit in on their teams’ client calls and team meetings. The Senior Manager evaluates the students’ project work and provides input to the faculty for grades.

We expect the time commitment to be 8-10 hours per week and up to 15 hours per week during busy periods. The job begins around August 23rd and ends mid December. Pay is $15/hour. This is a fantastic leadership development experience, as well as a chance to gain exposure to new companies and industries.
